Frequently Asked Questions

We've answered our most popular questions so you know exactly what our venue entails!

​What is your capacity?

Harvest Moon can accommodate up to 200 guests (including the bridal party) in both the ceremony, cocktail lounge and reception locations, as well as parking. Please note, the guest count does not change the price of the venue rental!

What is your down payment?

To secure your date, the initial down payment of 25% of the package price is required. Initial deposits are non-refundable, and they go towards your venue rental total. The remaining venue balance is due 3 months before your wedding date. We do offer payment plans!

Do prices included taxes and fees?

YES!! We are not in the business of surprising people with built up hidden expenses at the end, so all of our packages include ALL taxes and fees!

What is your alcohol policy?

Bartenders are INCLUDED in the package price. The couple will bring all alcoholic and non-alcoholic

drinks they want served ahead of time and our licensed bartenders will serve it, and they will then take any leftover alcohol home with them! It will be up to the couple and their budget to decide which alcohol they would like served! Alcoholic drinks MUST go through our bartenders!

Do you require day-of event insurance?

In order to keep the wedding day as stress free as possible, we include Day-of-Event Insurance in all of our packages!! We will purchase and take care of all of it so all you have to do is show up and enjoy your day knowing everything is covered!

When can I have my rehearsal?

If you choose a one day package, you are able to have your rehearsal for an hour on Thursday to run through the ceremony. *Please note, depending on the weddings booked your weekend, the Harvest Moon staff will send you options for timing. 

​

Do you have preferred vendors?

We have a list of preferred vendors that we highly recommend and will make your day smooth and seamless! However you may choose to bring in any vendor you'd like for catering, DJ, etc. If you do so, we do ask that they make a site visit prior to your event! (The only exception to this is bartending as all alcohol consumed on our property MUST go through our licensed bartenders!) Caterers MUST show proof of license and insurance!

Who sets up tables and chairs for my event?

The Harvest Moon staff will set up the tables and chairs. You will have a final sit-down or phone call with us 2-3 weeks from your event to discuss table placement and layout as well as final guest count. Our staff will also take down â€‹all tables and chairs so no need to worry about this after the event!

What help is provided on and leading up to my wedding day?

We INCLUDE a Day of Coordinator in our packages! We also include a Harvest Moon Wedding Guide to all of our couples that book. This is a detailed 20 page PowerPoint with checklists for each space, recommendations, floor plans, venue need-to-knows, and much more!  We pride ourselves on our incredibly quick response to all questions our couples reach out with!

What if it rains the day of my wedding?

Typically, we will plan for an outdoor ceremony. In the event that the weather does not cooperate, we have the option to move the ceremony inside and our staff will do a room flip following the ceremony during your cocktail/appetizer hour. This is a complimentary service with your venue rental.

Are pets allowed?

Harvest Moon DOES allow your furry family members to be a part of your special day! We do ask that you clean up after them and that someone is watching them the entire time they are on our property!. Please note: This applies to the bride and groom ONLY. 

​

Do you allow sparkler send-offs?

Yes! Not only do we allow sparkler send offs, we highly encourage them as the memories and pictures are amazing!! We do NOT allow fireworks anywhere on or near our property!

CanI bring in my own decorations?

Absolutely! We love when couples bring in their own decor or DIY projects that makes their special day unique! We do have a lot of greenery, candles and 2 separate photo walls included in the price as well as florals, centerpieces and miscellaneous decor available to rent for a small fee!

Do you offer linen rental?

Yes! We do have table linens and linen napkins available for rent! 

​

What overnight accommodations are available?

Harvest Moon is conveniently located 6 minutes from the nearest hotels. The Hampton Inn & Suites, The Wyndym and Quality Inn are all popular options! We also have awesome local Air BnB's that we highly recommend within 15 min or under from the venue! Find them on the "About" page!

 

We plan to have our ceremony offsite.Does your fee change?

You have exclusive access to the venue for the day, therefore we do not charge an additional fee for holding your ceremony onsite, nor do we lower the price if you choose to have it offsite.

Can vehicles be left overnight? 

Our preference is that cars be removed from the parking lot the day of the event, HOWEVER if someone cannot drive it is MUCH better to leave a vehicle parked and come back in the morning. We do require that if this happens, the vehicle(s) is moved by 10:00 AM, as we will most likely need the parking for an event the following day.
